Accepting these terms
By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or buy from the store.
If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian's permission.
You don't need an account to browse or buy. Checkout runs through PayPal, and your payment details go directly to PayPal — never to our servers.
What Changenaire is
Changenaire is a publication and lifestyle brand. We rank the world's most impactful people by measurable positive human impact — lives made better, not money.
Our rankings are editorial judgments: our honest opinion, based on the data and reporting we show our work with. They are not statements of objective fact about any person's worth, and they are not endorsements by the people we rank.
The store sells messages you wear: apparel carrying our original designs and phrases, plus the book Rebuilding Justice: An Employment-Based House Arrest Story of Redemption in digital and print editions.

Ordering from the store
Prices are in U.S. dollars and are shown on each product page. The price you see is the price you pay at checkout — no added shipping or tax at checkout.
Apparel is printed on demand, made for you after you order. Every piece ships in 5–10 business days. Colors and sizing run as displayed, though print-on-demand pieces can vary slightly from screen to shirt.
When you order, you agree to give accurate contact and shipping details, and to use a payment method that is yours to use.
Digital products
The Rebuilding Justice: An Employment-Based House Arrest Story of Redemption ebook + audiobook bundle is $9.99. After checkout, your library link arrives by email at the address you ordered with.
Changed your mind before your files arrive? Full refund — just contact us. Once digital files have been delivered to you, refunds are only available for a duplicate charge or a failed delivery. If your files never arrive, tell us and we'll resend them or refund you.
Returns and refunds (apparel)
Because each piece is printed for you after you order, we can't take back a shirt or hoodie just because you changed your mind.
If your item arrives wrong, misprinted, or damaged, contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the problem. We'll replace it or refund you — your choice.

Your messages and conduct
If you message us, comment, or send us anything, keep it lawful and decent. Don't send anything you don't have the right to share, and don't use the site to harass anyone or break the law.
We may remove anything that breaks these terms, and we may refuse service to anyone who abuses the site, the store, or our team.
Our content and intellectual property
Everything on this site — the writing, the rankings, the C+ emblem, Ember, the Changenaire’s Field Guide to Starting Something That Outlives You, and the book — belongs to Changenaire and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may share links and short quotes with credit. Anything more — reprinting, reselling, or using our designs on your own products — needs our written permission first.
Third-party services
Checkout runs through PayPal, email through Mailchimp, and printing and shipping through our print-on-demand partners. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their parts of the job, and we're not responsible for their services.
Links to other sites are for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they do.
Liability
We work hard to keep this site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will never have an error or a hiccup. The site and everything on it are provided “as is.”
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — or $100 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the publication and store grow. If a change matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page and note it in the newsletter. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
